Terms of Service

Service and publisher

Spritesheet AI is published by Samuel Ronce, France (see the Legal notice). It provides image and spritesheet generation, animation processing, effects (FX) and export packages for game engines, on spritesheet.ai and app.spritesheet.ai. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

Accounts

You sign in with an account managed by our authentication provider. You are responsible for the activity of your account, including your API keys and the applications you connect to it, and for keeping your credentials private. Tell us through the Contact page if you suspect unauthorized use.

Credits and payments

Generations are paid with credits. Credits are bought as one-time packs; there is no subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. The number of credits a generation uses is shown in the app and on the Pricing page (currently 15 credits for a spritesheet and 10 credits for an FX). Credits are debited when a generation starts, and a generation does not start when your balance is too low. If a generation fails for a technical reason, its credits are refunded. A result that was generated but does not match what you expected, for example because of the prompt or the source image, is not refunded automatically. Prices and credit costs may change for future purchases and generations. Rights that the law gives you as a consumer are not affected.

Your content

You keep your rights in the prompts, reference images and other material you provide. You confirm that you have the rights needed to use them and to let us process them to provide the service. Assets generated for you may be used in your projects, including commercial games, under the commercial license included with every credit pack. Because the results come from AI models, they may resemble other works; you are responsible for checking that your use of a result does not infringe the rights of others.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to create or share content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others, including the intellectual property of existing works and characters. Do not attempt to bypass credit, rate or access limits, to disrupt or probe the service, or to share your credentials or API keys. We may refuse or stop a generation that breaks these rules, and suspend an account in case of abuse.

API, MCP and connected apps

You can use the service through its API with project API keys, through the MCP endpoint, and through connected apps such as ChatGPT after you sign in and authorize the connection. These terms apply in the same way, and credits are debited from the account that authorized the access. You can stop a connection from the connected app or by deleting the API key in the app. Do not expose an API key in public code.

Sharing

Your creations are private by default. When you publish an asset through the sharing feature, it becomes accessible to others through its public link. You can unpublish it at any time. See the Privacy page for how data is processed.

Availability and changes

The service relies on third-party infrastructure and AI providers and is provided as available. We may improve, change or remove features, and we try to keep interruptions short. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for results that do not fit a particular purpose, and our liability for the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the event. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your creations. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Rules that by nature continue to apply, such as those about your content and liability, remain in force.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the service changes. The current version is always on this page, and a significant change applies to your next use of the service after it is published.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by French law, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page.
